Updates on changes to public transport services, including changes to bus station opening times.
Updates to the DRT service
There is currently no DRT service in Auchengillan, Blanefield and Carron Valley. Due to unforeseen circumstances Kingshouse Travel are no longer able to provide DRT service in the Balquhidder scheme. For more information on this, please call us on 01786237800
Midland Bluebird C11 diversion, Cambusbarron, from 4 July
During the following dates, St Ninians Road will be closed:
- Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July 2025
- Monday 7 July to Friday 11 July 2025
This will affect the following C11 services:
- From Stirling bus station: 10am, 1pm, 3:20pm and 5:30pm
The bus will operate via Park Place, Birkhill Road, Main Street, Mill Hill and then normal route back to Stirling.
St Ninians Road and the Gillieshill loop will not be served on those journeys.
A temporary bus stop will be provided on Birkhill Road near to the park entrance.
Midland Bluebird 52 diversion between Causewayhead Roundabout and Menstrie from 14 July
From Monday 14 July until Friday 18 July 2025 Midland Bluebird service 52 will not serve the section of route between Causewayhead roundabout and Menstrie Tullibody Road.
The nearest alternative stops are located:
- Alloa Road and Causewayhead Road (Stirling)
- Tullibody Road, Menstrie
- A temporary stop will be provided on Tullibody Road near Broompark East in the towards Tillicoultry direction
The only bus service to the Wallace Monument bus stops during the closure will be the Stirling Sightseer which will operate as normal.
Midland Bluebird service X10 - diversion between Stirling and Balfron
Between 9am and 6pm each day from Monday 30 June until Friday 4 July 2025 inclusive, service X10 will be unable to serve Gargunnock, Kippen, Arnprior and Buchlyvie.
Two free Stirling Council shuttle buses will operate via the normal X10 route.
- Buchlyvie (outside village hall) to Balfron Buchanan Street at Clinic
Arnprior via Kippen and Gargunnock to Stirling bus station.
Midland Bluebird services 59 and S60 from 19 June 2025
Due to an emergency road closure Midland Bluebird services 59 and S60 will not be able to serve Doune village centre from 1:45pm on Friday 19 June 2025 for up to 7 days.
The nearest alternative stops are located
- A84 near to Fir Road
