How our schools are performing
How you can access school statistics and find out about the steps we’re taking to improve education.
Reports and plans by schools and nurseries
Each session, every school and nursery in the Stirling Council area produces a:
- standards and quality report, that explains the school’s performance and outlines its priorities for the coming year
- school improvement plan, that sets out the actions the school will take to improve and address issues identified in its standards and quality report
If you want to read a specific report or plan, you can ask the school or nursery for this.
School information dashboard
Education Scotland publishes detailed data about Scottish schools, including:
- pupil numbers
- attendance levels
- average class sizes
- pupil-to-teacher ratios
You can access all of this data by visiting the school information dashboard section of its Parentzone website. The dashboard has three separate sections, which cover:
- primary school data
- secondary school data
- special school data
