Important dates for applying
If you are ages 16-19 on or before 30 September 2024
- EMA can be paid from week ended 25 August 2024 (If we receive your application by 30 September 2024)
- Applications received between 1 October 2024 and 31 March 2025 can be paid from the week we first receive your application
- No applications can be accepted after 31 March 2025
If you are age 16 between 1 October 2024 and 28 February 2025
- EMA can be paid from week ended 10 January 2025 (if we receive your application by 28 February 2025)
- Applications received between 1 March 2025 and 31 March 2025 can be paid from the week we first receive your application.
The cut-off date for processing application forms for academic year 2024/25 is 31 March 2025. No applications will be processed after this date
Before you begin
You will need:
- information about yourself and your parent(s) or carer, including income details
- information about your school
- your bank account details
