On 7th June 2018 Stirling Council’s Environment and Housing Committee approved the updated Stirling’s Parking Policy and Community Parking Management Plans (CPMP) document
The updated document contains a vision for parking in Stirling and four primary objectives.
Whilst specific CPMPs will be developed for certain communities, it is not deemed necessary to produce specific plans for all the communities in the Council area as the amount of parking required for some of these locations is relatively small and will be covered by general Parking Policy requirements
The comprehensive community consultation that was undertaken as part of the Local Transport Strategy review in 2016/17 highlighted the communities that need individual parking reviews and parking management plans to be developed. Bridge of Allan was one of the communities identified through this process.
The process for developing Bridge of Allan’s CPMP will take the form of a combination of desktop studies, parking surveys, parking master planning and public consultation. During these processes, we will fully engage with the Bridge of Allan community, partners, businesses and local elected members.
We would like to know your views on parking in Bridge of Allan so that we can work in partnership to develop the CPMP for the area.
We’d therefore really appreciate if you would take a few minutes of your time to complete a brief questionnaire.
The questionnaire will be available between 19th November and 10th December 2019, after which we will update you with the results and the next stage of the process.
