“We are looking forward to welcoming some regular Tolbooth attendees, and to meeting some new gig goers looking for a fresh festival experience.”

Breaking boundaries

David Weaver, Cultural Venues Programmer Stirling Council said: “Interesting Things is an opportunity to discover and experience some of the most exciting and original musicians working today - from local acts to globally recognised artists; we've got a whole day of incredible contemporary music throughout the historic and iconic Tolbooth building.

“Although the music covers a whole variety of genres, I think the thing that connects them all, and that we wanted to celebrate, is that they are all trying new things; breaking boundaries and creating music that has creativity and fearlessness at its heart. Hopefully people will come along with open ears and open minds, and not only catch a few of their favourite acts, but also discover some new favourites too.”
