The service is scheduled to take place on Sunday 13 November at the Church of the Holy Rude, commencing at 10.45am.
This will be followed by a procession from the church to the Cenotaph where a wreath-laying ceremony will take place at approximately 11.50am. This will be the 100th Remembrance event to take place at Stirling’s War Memorial which was unveiled in 1922.
Stirling Provost, Cllr Douglas Dodds said: “This is the time of the year where we come together as a community to honour the memories of those who served this country and to reflect on the sacrifices that have been made in conflicts past and present.
“Remembrance Sunday is a solemn occasion throughout the country and my thoughts will be with the armed forces community and their families across Stirling when we gather at the Church of the Holy Rude to remember the lives that have been lost.”
