The cultural celebration, which is free to attend, will get underway on Friday 28 March from 6-8pm, featuring activities and performances from top creative organisations, turning the iconic Stirling Castle into an energetic spectacle. 'Fully immersive'
The evening is fully immersive with every corner of the castle featuring activity for visitors to walk through and take in at their own pace. This includes a performance from Scotland’s eminent aerial dance company, All or Nothing; a display of Japanese Taiko drumming and a silent disco.
Various stalls and displays from local organisations will also feature prominently throughout the evening, which will conclude with a concert from musicians Evie Waddell and Neil Sutcliffe.
'New musical composition'

The concert will feature the debut of a new musical composition penned especially for the 900th anniversary that celebrates the history of Stirling and contemplates what lies ahead for its future. The composition was funded by Youth Music Initiative and supported by Tolbooth Stirling.
'A platform for talent local artists'
Stirling Council leader, Cllr Gerry McGarvey said: “We’re rapidly approaching the grand finale of Stirling’s 900th anniversary celebrations and the night of arts and culture being hosted at Stirling Castle will be a fitting way to get the festivities underway.
“I’m incredibly proud of the local artists and creative groups across all of our communities who have done a fantastic job of celebrating Stirling’s rich history throughout the last year. This night of culture will provide an additional platform for our talented local musicians, artists and community groups in what will be a spectacular evening.”

The Culture Night at Stirling Castle offers visitors the chance to experience and explore one of the city’s most iconic sites and we very much look forward to welcoming visitors through the doors for this special evening.
