Housebound library service

If you are unable to get to your local library due to age or disability, the library service can arrange for books to be delivered to your home. We can also deliver to you on a temporary basis following an operation or accident where you cannot get to the library. We deliver throughout the Stirling Council area and there is no charge for this service.

After an initial visit by a member of the outreach team, one of our volunteers or library staff will deliver your books fortnightly.

The library staff also deliver to residential care homes, sheltered housing and other centres. We hold a range of events throughout the year such as author visits and reminiscence sessions, and send out a seasonal newsletter.
