Online Training

Your will receive your Election Trainer username and password by email.
Election Trainer can be accessed from a wide range of devices including laptops, mobile phones and tablets. Please note that the online training cannot be taken Internet Explorer so use another browser such as Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
The Polling Station Staff Training will lead you through what you can expect to happen on polling day, including the new photographic ID and postal vote requirements. The full online training programme will take approximately 90 minutes.
The training is available now and does not need to be completed in one session, but must be completed in full by the date in your training invitation email.
At the end of the training there is a multiple-choice assessment to check your knowledge and understanding of your duties on polling day, made up of randomised questions. You may take the assessment as often as you wish or need to. The training is completed when you can see the progress indicator at 100% and the ‘completed’ indicator is ticked (see your training email for details).
Please complete the training in conjunction with reviewing the handbooks and resources linked above.
After completion of the training you can access it again, as often as you like, until polling day.
You do not need to contact us to confirm you have completed the training as we will receive a report from the training website.
