Introduction

A Stirling resident since 2008, Thomas attended the University of Stirling, graduating with a BA Hons in History and Politics. Before being elected as a Councillor in 2024, he worked in hospitality, social media marketing and has worked as Head of Office for MSPs in the Scottish Parliament, including as a principal advisor for high profile Shadow Cabinet positions for almost a decade.

Thomas is a family man with two young children and is married to a local nurse.

He is a keen tennis player, football fan, whisky lover and amateur historian with an interest in Victorian political history, international relations and political theory.
