Councillor Rosemary Fraser, Scottish National Party, Ward 2 Forth and Endrick

Councillor

Rosemary Fraser

SNP, Forth & Endrick

Introduction

Rosemary worked in financial services as a Chartered Financial Planner for more than 30 years and was elected Insurance Society of Edinburgh president in 2013-2014.

In 2019 Rosemary decided to hang up her commercial boots and walk the talk for the environment by opening the first zero waste refill shop in the area, Weigh Ahead, in Dunblane. Its aims and objectives are to promote environmental issues and offer volunteering and paid work opportunities to people who may otherwise struggle into work.

Rosemary has played an active part in local and national politics since 2013, campaigning for the SNP and Women for Independence/Independence for Women, with this May’s election seeing her first elected position as councillor
