The data is processed because the Council undertakes public engagement and participation on specific topics e.g. Priority Based Budgeting.
If people attend an open event or complete an online survey where we seek their views, we always ask if they wish to be informed of the outcome or to keep in touch as it develops.
Personal data is about members of the community who have attended an event or completed an online survey.
We process this data in order to complete a “public task” carried out in the public interest.
The personal data comes from the data subject.
