Community Sport Hubs (CSH) aim to bring together local clubs, partners and people who want to develop and grow the sport and physical activity offering within a defined community. The data is processed because the council provides support in the form of staff time, information sharing and awareness, and access to training opportunities.
To establish Community Sport Hubs, the council undertakes public engagement and participation sessions in identified communities. If people attend the sessions we ask if they wish to keep in touch as the hub develops.
We provide support to involved stakeholders to develop the hub through collective meetings, sub groups, and one to one support. Regular informal/formal communication with groups and individuals takes place to progress priorities the groups have identified.
Personal Data is about members of the community who have attended a Community Sport Hub engagement session and subsequently wish to be involved in the Community Sport Hub steering group.
We process this personal data to enable us to perform a “public task” carried out in the public interest. Personal data is processed with the consent of the data subject.
The personal data comes from the data subject.
In electronic format, as part of a distribution list for each CSH on the Council network.
In paper format, in a CSH folder stored in a secure cabinet.
Personal data is only kept as long as necessary and is updated annually.
