If you're a British Sign Language (BSL) user, you can contact Stirling Council using Contact Scotland BSL.

Contact Scotland BSL is a Scotland-wide service that's delivered by Sign Language Interactions on behalf of the Scottish Government. It allows you to make phone calls to people who do not use BSL by getting online support from a trained BSL interpreter. This is known as a video relay service.

You can get this support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How to use Contact Scotland BSL's video relay service

You can access the video relay service by either:

  • a video camera built into or connected to your device
  • a good internet connection

Charges

There’s no charge for using Contact Scotland BSL’s services. However, depending on how you access the internet, you might need to pay your provider for data you use during the call.
