YT Club is a youth centre and community garden in the St Ninians area of Stirling.
It offers young people opportunities to:
- meet other young people
- take part in activities
- learn new skills
YT Club is run by our Senior Phase and Youth Participation team.
Gardening and mural project
In the summer of 2022, volunteers aged 10 to 16 worked to improve both the garden and the exterior of the centre. This involved:
- clearing overgrown land
- preparing the area for food growing
- working with artists to design colourful murals
- helping to paint murals on the wall and shutters of the centre
In November 2022, the land outside the centre opened as a fully functioning community garden.
You can find out more about this work and its impact on Education Scotland's page about our gardening and mural project.
Raised beds for growing fruit and vegetables
As a result of the gardening and mural project, young people who attend YT Club can now grow their own fruit and vegetables in raised beds. If you have any questions about how young people can do this, email spandyp@stirling.gov.uk.
Local people and community groups can also use the raised beds in the YT Club's garden. If you're interested in growing fruit or vegetables here, request growing space by emailing us spandyp@stirling.gov.uk.
