Matters Arising and Actions • Planters CR gave an update. He has reviewed the communication that was shared with the previous chair. A drawing has been approved by SC estates department for the location of the planters, subject to draft minutes and an agreement being signed by the chair and treasurer of the CC and licensing department.
• Noticeboards Has arrived and there was a discussion about doing another drawing for the noticeboard. There were questions raised about why this was needed as the feeling was that this had already been completed. The location has been agreed (referred to the drawing) and SC have also agreed to install the noticeboard, need a licence to occupy for 5 years, as well as asset, public liability and volunteers’ insurance, have a provisional quote get back to KMP who are the insurance brokers for SC. Posters put out for volunteers asking for assistance with the maintenance of the planters. A risk assessment will be conducted on the volunteers.
• Community centre refurbishment and repairs Email sent to CC; information is very vague on the work that will be carried out. Will ask for further clarification to pass onto the community.
• Fund Raising CR attended a breakfast club meeting with Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise. Different groups were in attendance. CR was able to network with a range of people, CC was a member of SVE but membership has expired. There was a discussion about renewing the membership. It was also highlighted that the CC can apply for the Stirling Community Lottery as a community benefit but it was agreed that any funding applications have to be agreed by all of the CC before it is applied for. Put information on Facebook so the community can express their voice. |

Residents Voice A resident advised that SC had come and cut down fruit trees and hedges in the front garden of her council flat without giving any prior notice. The resident advised that the trees were gifted by a group called Stepping Stones. The resident has contacted SC to ask why the trees and hedges were cut down and she was advised that another resident has complained about bushes |

Traffic, speeding and parking Traffic survey was meant to take place. McGill’s went with Council officers to look at double parked cars and took on board the feedback that he was given. However, nothing has happened based on the feedback. There are still issues with parked vehicles on the exit from Ruskie Road and Johnstone Avenue. Councillor Nunn will meet with SJW and Scott MacArthur to walk round and show the issues. |
|

Community centre and keyholder training Emails from Chris Burns with application forms and guidance notes, everyone who wants training needs to complete forms.
