and the scheme of establishment for future reference.

themselves with the Scheme of Establishment.
4. Minutes of the March minutes
There were several amendments requested to the March minutes, based on these changes being
made the minutes were proposed by RC and seconded by PMCC.
This led to a discussion about community councillors being named in the minutes and it was agreed
that members will only be named if they have a specific action to take forward.
There was also a request for the February minutes to be recirculated.
5. Matters arising from the minutes.
Locality Action Plan/Etive Place Development
There was a discussion about the locality action plan and the land at Etive Place. CR has met with
Hamish Wishart since the last community council meeting.
It was felt that there is still duplication between what CAPP and the CC are doing regarding the LPP
and clarification is needed on what each group is doing. CR and RC have already agreed to meet with
Kate Fleming from CAPP to take the LPP forward.
Social Media Policy – Guidelines
The Community Council have been working on a social media policy. Paper copies were distributed
for everyone to look over.
Contact was made with Causewayhead and Bridge of Allan community councils, neither of whom
currently have a policy in place.
This led to a discussion about resilience, the resilience plan and the lack of sandbags and grit in
Cornton.
It was also highlighted that there is a range of emergency equipment in the community centre that
no one can access.
6. Stirling Albion Foundation
Funding has been secured to be able to deliver another 10-week programme.
The previous sessions were well attended with 16 to 18 young people attending each session.

They have been offering boxercise sessions in Cornton for both adults and children and attendance
has been good.
There are also plans to run a leadership training programme to allow individuals to support the
delivery of the sessions.
There are also plans to run more health walks in Cornton with 2 residents being interested in
completing the walk leader training.
New table tennis equipment has been purchased and the plan is to run sessions for both young
people and adults.
There was a discussion about issues with local youth club provision and it was agreed that Chris
Burns will investigate this further.
SJW will also send details of the current provision to Councillor Nunn.
7. Reports

the meeting.
There were concerns raised about the information contained in the report being inaccurate.

however they have been successful in their application and the funds will be held on the
community council account until more details can be disclosed.
 There were concerns raised that the funding applications were made without everyone in
the community council being aware of it and for an undisclosed group.
