Chris Burns and Marnie Foster Stirling Council welcomed everyone to meeting and asked for vote to elect interim Chair till AGM in May 2024.

Charles R accepted Interim Chair till May 2024
Sharon McQuillian then asked to be vice chair, it was explained that this won't be happening till next AGM in May, Marnie explained any training will be going forward to develop CCC team. SVE online Friday 5.30pm till 7.30pm so we can all understand way forward.
Chris and Marnie then,Handed over copy of Co-option Process also said will no longer be involved with this meeting then departed.
Charles then asked for to start meeting, Charles and Sharon attended the school to put forward packages for CCC.
P McC/SC brought up that CCC committee was never involved in posters for new logo, SMcQ did it all of her own back.
Sarah Jane left the meeting after disagreement. Sarah Jane then returned to meeting again.
Councillor Thomson - Spoke to all Members about working together and that means involving everyone.
Amanda asked why we don't work together( Scheme of Establishment), Person can only be co-opted on after attending 3 continuous meetings. So Amanda can't be co-opted until been to 3 continuous meetings, carry forward to next meeting. Shona will send and ask for nomination forms.
Charles asked to move forward debate and the next 15 months, LPP Planning crucial for Community Development.
Let's work together and bring back for development, engage with people of CORNTON,John Forty Haugh Road,Bracken Lane and West Haugh,Castle Vale football fields.
Crispin asked for amendments to Sept minutes (done)
Charles - try to fill 2 permanent vacancies, advertise for co-optees we only have one at moment PMcC whom has attended all meetings.
Amanda asked- if it was worth everyone saying what they have brought to CCC and what they hoped for. She was part of PTC and enjoyed working together. COVID stopped all this.
PMcC - Community Cafe going well need more help plus Galas,Pantos etc (PLI) time consuming stops people coming forward.
Crispin - Try to get more people involved.
councillor Thomson explained that it could close to Council - Volunteers to take on as people getting angry and struggling to get everything done. Work together and he will fight our corner.
Next Councillor in CORNTON is Susan McGill 29/11/23.
Anna J - been on all Committees for a long time and agreed with Amanda force of habit for the Community.
PMcC - gettong asked all the time to help a long with SC at Community Cafe no other volunteers, some came first week never been back.
SMcQ - helps with Nursery PTA and they want to help out. Anna J - Gala day, Dances Bingo get Community involved.
Sarah JW - Spiritualist night to raise money for charities, SJW explained we had all these things cheerleading, toddler group competitions etc. sJW also explained that she went to College then Uni to become a Community Development Officer.
Charles brought up buying printer £240 etc needs to be set up in a secure room to work from, source paper prices cartridges etc. Await outcome of old Credit Union Office - access issues.
Send all CCC emails to Charles R to see if we can buy or get free wifi service into Centre. Anna J explainedStirling Council Housing gets it free none profit Charles will look into this.
Crispin B - will ask Causewayhead Community Council about this. Shona C - will email PC Josh invite to November meeting.

Mandate lifted account open. Rose C handed everyone a balance sheet from previous years till present.

Shona C writing to McGills about buses going to Uni and leaving CORNTON with no bus and ask for explanation.
Stirling Council - Never put up on website it was only on main start of business floods. Stirling Council really did a great job to clear Road.
Councillor Thomson - Engage site, cuts coming budget conversation - what do you have to provide, fisheries,schools stationery etc. Explain what we want. Double parking and parking on pavements. Dec 23 Improvements - rent etc on next year's agenda, garden maintenance.
Castle Vale - Hogweed going into gardens ask Stuart Milne - Housing Playpark, Crispin B - will deal with this Councillor Nunn is chasing this up.
Bring to CCC rubbish fly tipping etc invite to CCC meeting. Councillor Thomson been very helpful during this meeting.
