Transport Development Team – looking for individuals to attend and become part of a group.
The first meeting took place 23 April will email and ask the team what area this group will
cover.

5. Additional Reports
Councillor Report
Councillor Flannagan commented on the recent report in the local paper and the comments
that were reportedly from him. Unfortunately, the newspaper did not report his comments
correctly and took the quote directly from a public safety meeting.
Vandalism in Mayfield Centre – graffiti on shop walls, Councillor Flannagan has raised this
with the police.
Stirling Council Booking System for waste goes live on 1 May and the first slot to book will
be 15 May 2024. Martin raised a question regarding hiring a van to use for waste removal – as far has he understands you must log your vehicle registration number – what would
happen if you hired a van. Councillor Flannagan confirmed that he does not have an answer
on that yet.
There will be a full council meeting next week w/c 29 April 2024.
Forthside – confirmed that a film studio has taken possession of the empty building.
Police
No Police presence and no report. Martin confirmed that he recently visited Randophfield
to see the new Police Chief Inspector unfortunately wasn’t available. Councillor Flannagan
asked Martin to let him know when the council last had contact from Police Scotland.
Martin suggested putting in a letter to the new Chief Inspector to see if the situation regarding
lack of reports and or attendance can be resolved. The community council agreed that
contact should be made. Martin will draft an email to send from the community council email
address.
Superglass
Two complaints recently received: 1 April and 3 April.

Defibrillators
The community defibrillators are now all the same brand, fully working and have been placed
on the circuit. The old defibrillator needs to be returned to Crawford Hall.

The initial query relating to the above has now been resolved however there seems to be a
parking issue in Annfield Drive. Martin confirmed that he will check and confirm the situation.
If this issue relates to emergencies regarding services unfortunately there is no control over
this.
