- Local Place Plan
A positive discussion was held on 28th November on the future of Balfron. These notes will inform the next stages of the Local Place Plan. ‘Place at the Table’ consultant also hosted a session at the Balfron Baptist Church to hear views.
An event will take place in January with a focus on the environment, net zero and climate change. Alison suggested that a climate themed event happens alongside this such as an information stall from Home Energy Scotland or a community swap shop etc. It will likely take place during the day the weekend to maximise attendance.
Chelsea and ‘Imagine If’ consultants will be hosting a focus group in the high school, a display board and a survey will be developed for high school students to voice their contributions to the Local Place Plan.
