Proposed Route

START Arnprior to Kippen, to fintry to Balfron via the honey home road. To the top of Balfron, down the Main Street to Killearn, to Gartness, along Gartness road to Drymen Bypass . Down to the bottom entrance into Drymen, up to the back road to Gartmore, then to Cobleland to Aberfoyle Woolenmill for Lunch. Up the Dukes pass, over to Brig o turk, to the invertrossachs road missing Callander, over the hill road to Blairhoyle, then Thornhill, back to Kippen then to Arnprior to finish around 4pm FINISH

START THE SECTION OF THE EVENT THAT IS ON THE ROAD STARTS FROM MCLAREN LEISURE CENTRE AND GOES DOWN A81 FOR A SHORT DISTANCE BEFORE TURNING LEFT ONTO THE INVERTROSSACHS ROAD. THE ROUTE THEN CROSSES THE A821 AND ONTO WOODLAND TRUST LAND AND ONTO THE OLD RAILWAY LINE BACK TO CALLANDER. THE SECTION ON ROADS AMOUNTS TO 5.5KM APPROX. THESE ROADS ARE ALL VERY QUIET AND LOCAL RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE EVENT TAKING PLACE. FINISH
