Start The event starts from McLaren High School, Mollands Road, Callander. The proposed route will see runners leave the school car park and turn right, running along the road for approximately 200 metres. Runners will then turn left, off Mollands Road and proceed on to a Forestry Commission path. It is only this 200 metre stretch, which we require the road to be closed temporarily for. Runners will start en masse from the school and be through the 200 metre section in a maximum of 2 minutes. We would propose to close the road between the roundabout where the A81 and Invertrossachs road meet on the north side of the route and the mini roundabout where the A81 and Lubnaig Drive meet on the south side of the route. As soon as the final runner is off Mollands Road the road will reopen for normal traffic usage. The road would be closed for a maximum of 2 minutes. Finish |
