New waste schedule (Commercial Waste)

Following a review of the current service, Stirling Council have identified changes in our service delivery, to improve performance, efficiency, resilience and cost.  

The new service will begin week commencing the 3 March 2025.

Your collection day for your bin may change but there is no change to your collection frequency. Every business will receive written confirmation of their day change in the post

There will be no changes to the collection frequencies for waste and recycling. 

There will be no disruptions or missed collections. There may, however be a change in the day we collect the waste from your business.

Every business will receive written confirmation of their day change in the post.

If your bins are collected on a Saturday your collection day will change. Information for your business will be available in your letter.

Following the service review, all evening collections have been moved to a daytime collection to improve performance, efficiency, resilience and cost. 

If you use sacks your collection day and time will change. You will receive this information in a letter to your business. Your sack should be put on the kerbside by 7am on the day of collection.  

Sack collections now take place in the morning. If you put it kerbside after 7am you risk your sack not being collected and you must remove it from the street until your next scheduled collection day.
