Updates relating to all emergency closures across Stirling. 

Emergency Road Closure: Kersebonny Road, Stirling

From 24 June 2020 until 8 July 2020 Kersebonny Road will be closed from its junction with the A811 to its junction with Woolcarder’s Court for emergency Scottish Water works.

Alternative Route: via Kersebonny Road, Mill Road, The Brae, Mill Hill, Main Street, Birkhill Road, Park Place, Kings Park Road, Victoria Place, Queens Road, Dumbarton Road West (A811) and vice versa.

Please Note: Access will be maintained for emergency services and resident access.

Emergency Road Closure: New Street

All restrictions will be from 29 June 2020 until 19 July 2020 as part of a COVID-19 project. These road closures and parking restrictions will create additional space for pedestrians and cyclists at locations where space is currently limited.

New Street: From the junction of Henderson Street south west to the junction with Allanvale Road, a distance of 54 metres or thereby. 

Alternative Route: Via Henderson Street - Fountain Road - Allanvale Road

Please Note: Access for loading / unloading and emergency services will be maintained from Allanvale Road

Emergency Road Closures: Murray Place and King Street

All restrictions will be from 29 June 2020 until 19 July 2020 as part of a COVID-19 project. These road closures and parking restrictions will create additional space for pedestrians and cyclists at locations where space is currently limited.

 

Murray Place: From its junction with Station Road to its junction with King Street

King Street: From the point where it meets Murray Place to "The Steeple" at the top of King Street

Alternative Route: via Kersebonny Road, Mill Road, The Brae, Mill Hill, Main Street, Birkhill Road, Park Place, Kings Park Road, Victoria Place, Queens Road, Dumbarton Road West (A811) and vice versa.

Please Note: Exemptions will apply to goods vehicles (deliveries) loading / unloading to adjacent premises, refuse collection vehicles, to vehicles accessing the Golden Lion Hotel car park, taxis (for the purpose of dropping off / picking up only), residents and to blue badge holders. Access to residents will be maintained to the permit holder only spaces on Murray Place in front of the TSB. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.

Emergency Parking Suspension: Dalvey Road, Callander

Parking on Dalvey Road, Callander will be suspended from Monday 22nd June until Sunday 12th July 2020 Restrictions will be in place for 1486 metres on Dalvey Road from the A84 Trunk Road.
This suspension is in place for the purposes of public safety.

Emergency Suspension of Parking: Upper Craigs

All restrictions will be from 29 June 2020 until 19 July 2020 as part of a COVID-19 project. These road closures and parking restrictions will create additional space for pedestrians and cyclists at locations where space is currently limited.

Emergency suspension of one-way system: New Street

All restrictions will be from 29 June 2020 until 19 July 2020 as part of a COVID-19 project. These road closures and parking restrictions will create additional space for pedestrians and cyclists at locations where space is currently limited.

Emergency 20mph Speed Limit: Henderson Street

All restrictions will be from 29 June 2020 until 19 July 2020 as part of a COVID-19 project. These road closures and parking restrictions will create additional space for pedestrians and cyclists at locations where space is currently limited.

Henderson Street: From its junction with Inverallan Road in a general south east direction to the west kerbline of Melville Place, a distance of 637 metres or thereby.

Emergency No Waiting At Any Time: Road at Finnich Glen near Croftamie

Temporary restrictions on waiting applied from Friday 26th June until Thursday 16th July 2020 
A809: From outside the property known as Dualt to the boundary of Dalnair Cottage.  This restriction will apply for a distance of 3640 metres.
B834: From the junction of A809 and B834 to the junction of the B834/A81.  This restriction will apply for a distance of 1550 metres.

Updated: Emergency Road Closure / Parking Suspension / Suspension of One-WayFrom the 2 July 2020 until 8 July 2020 Spittal Street and St John Street will be closed From the junction of Bank Street to the point where it meets St John Street and
the point where it meets Spittal Street, to the point where it meets Mar Place. All restrictions to facilitate resetting of carriageway setts.

Suspension of parking on Mar Place: From the point where it meets St John Street to the junction with Castle Wynd / Broad Street.

Alternative Route: Access to Spittal Street / St John Street will be via temporary traffic lights to allow for two way traffic access for residents and businesses.
Alternative Route to Broad Street - via Spittal Street, Bank Street, Baker Street, King Street, Corn Exchange Road, Albert Place, Dumbarton Road West, Raploch Road,
Back O’Hill Road, Lower Bridge Street, St Mary’s Wynd.

These works were cancelled due to the COVID-19 restrictions and this emergency is
required to provide time for the TTRO to be processed and advertised.
