Use the links on the page to view live river level information at various points in the Stirling area.

River sensor faults

The data normally updates every six hours. If the water level crosses the lower black line, the data will update every 15 minutes. Once you open a graph page, you'll need to select refresh or reload to see updated data.

Using the graphs

The green line on a graph shows the water level. The black lines represent the water level at which an alarm will be triggered. A description of the alarm is given for each water level measurement.

Aberfoyle river levels

Alarm descriptions

  • Lower black line - car park under threat of flooding
  • Upper black line - Lochard Road, up to primary school, now flooded. Main Street starting to flood.

Bridge of Allan river levels

Alarm descriptions

  • Lower black line - river flooded across allotments and sports fields
  • Upper black line - Allan Water flooding onto Cornton Road
